Finding where the water really gets in
A stain on your ceiling is rarely right under the hole. Water that gets past a shingle runs along the underlayment and down the roof boards, and it can travel several feet before it drips through.
So a good repair starts with a look at the whole roof, not only the spot over the stain. We check every slope, the flashing and the pipe boots, then go into the attic to look for darkened wood or daylight. You get photos of what we found, so you can see the problem for yourself.
